10-5-10 Phoenix and outlying cities experience worst hail storm in 15 years
It happened around 12 noon and again at 5:30 pm - strong winds, rain, hail and microbursts assaulted Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Flagstaff and others leaving a path of destruction to cars, roofs, home exteriors and other personal property. Hundreds of people have filed personal property claims to their insurance companies already and hundreds more are expected to do so in the coming days and weeks.
